We will soon be pre-selling the DVD's - We will be selling them through this site at the cost of $30 (plus p&h). We wont be sending the DVD's out until next year (date to be confirmed), but we thought this might be a way to get this film completed and also benefit the subjects of the documentary. We need to take this documentary to the next level, and to do that we need your help. If you purchase your copy of Village of the Forgotten Widows early, we will be able to use the money for distribution and screenings that will help open people’s eyes to the ongoing issues in Srebrenica and Bosnia today. Thirty percent of each dvd purchased will go towards helping the women we interviewed in our documentary. Having met and spoken to these women, we know exactly what they need in order to simplify their lives. Fetijah needs a cow. Fikreta needs a bed for her sick mother. Haijra needs supplies for her factory. Asia needs assistance to help her son study Bego needs a tiller Hasa needs a tiller The other seventy percent will go towards promoting our film at festivals, making dubs, marketing materials printed and much more. We hope this will reignite peoples interest in Bosnia and go towards helping the Srebrenica survivors. We are currently in the process of setting up several initiatives to help benefit the lives of the people returning to Srebrenica. We will also be starting a new indiegogo page to help raise money to market and get this documentary into all the prominent festivals.
